The Fallen Legacy Chapter 4

 More chapters coming out woot!
 "What... Heidan.... I..." I couldn't even comprehend what was going on, let alone speak words. I fell down to ground and started to cry histerically. Heidan sat down with me, and we just sat there in each others presences.
"I'll be out if you need me." Carson sighed, rushing out of the house...
 When I gathered myself together, I stood up. Heidan followed my actions.
"How are you here Heidan?" I said, almost in tears again.
"I thought I would surprise you! But my idea was a little... um... crushed." He sounded happy at first, but the sadness in his voice increased greatly.
 "Yeah, I have been a little busy..." I noticed that he was staring down and my-- our-- son. "He's yours you know."
 "Like I couldn't figure that out..." He used his dry humor, which he only did awkward situations.
 We decided to sit down and drink coffee... But he kept staring at Rosen.
 I stared into his eyes... But got quickly snapped back into reality when he started to talk.
"How have you been... Rose."
"Better. Worse. I'm not really sure anymore. Its just, I don't know. Carson has provided so much for us. How did you come... you know.. back? You were killed."
 He got up and I soon followed suit.
"Look, I don't want to sit here and pretend everything is all goody-goody. We were in love. And that one thing got in the way and its all gone."
I just stared as his words burned into me, I tried to say something, but no words came out. He walked the room and slammed the door behind him.
 When Carson arrived back home I was in a state of nothing. I had no emotion, or no sense of what was around me. I snapped out my nothing-ness when Carson started to speak.
"Do you... Do you still want to be with me? Your fiance just came back from the dead. Why wouldn't you want to be with him?"
"Did you seriously just ask that? I love you, how could you?!"
 After that I had "experience" with Carson, I had to take Rosen to the doctors. The news was excruciating. Rosen, his lungs... his throat... Everything. He has a serious case of asthma, and his excessive coughing made his throat raw. At the doctors office.. he coughed up an amount of blood that was very high. If the doctors hadn't calmed Rosen down... he would have to gone to the hospital. And to add onto the news that my son was in a serious condition right now, I was indeed... Pregnant.
 I picked up Rosen gingerlly out of his crib... If he was coughing too much at one point, and I couldn't get to the hospital in time, my sons life could end. Very easily.
 But nonetheless he was a very happy baby. It hardly seemed like his disease was conquering his life.
 But he did know how to manipulate me... Especially when he wanted food, even after he had his bottle.
 It wasn't until a couple months later that I decided to see Heidan again. Time passed by VERY quickly and Rosen was going to be 4 soon.
 "Heidan. I want us to work again. For us to be able to be together!" I tried to wrap my arms around him but he pushed me away.
"Look, I want to be with you... I really do, but, I can't. You are pregnant with my brothers child. I can't do that to him."
 "But, I love... I love you." I said simply.
"Yeah and I love the fact that your pregnant with my brothers child! Don't you just love life?" He said with thick and heavy sarcasm.
 I soon and realized that Rosen was on this little "adventure" with me to the little lake outside our house, when I heard him giggling.
 "Teehee! I have 10 toes! And 10 fingers! Momma! Dadda!" We both laughed at the innocence.
 "For what its worth, I never stopped loving you..." I whispered.
 "Neither have I. But I have to learn to respect boundaries..." Heidan stated surely, but soon to contradict his statement, he grabbed my hands and squeezed them tight, like he never wanted to let go.
 When Rosen started to cry because of not getting any attention Heidan was the one to run to him and give him his love.
 "Hey there little man! Wanna have man to man time?" Heidan turned and looked at me as if asking my permission. I nodded and decided that they needed bonding time.
 "Carson... Can... Can I talk to you?"
 "I... I really love Rose. I lost her once, and I really can't lose her again..."
Rosen stood up in his crib as if expecting a fight to break out..
 "Look, bro, I know you love her, but I love her too. I'm sorry I can't help who I fall in love with..." Carson faded out.
 "I understand, you can't help who you fall in love with... I really can't ask you to leave her, that isn't right of me..."
 "Yeah because it isn't like you are trying to steal your fiance back or anything." Carson mocked.
 "Hey, Rose... I need to talk to you... After some... thinking... I just... I think we can't be together. I will still support you and our child. Its just, with Heidan being back and everything, I can't be in the way. You look at him like... like.... Well, I can't explain it, but the way you look at him, you don't look at me."
 "WHAT. You are leaving me because of the way I look at some guy? Yes I love Heidan, but I also love you too! What about your kid? So many men say they will support their children! But in the end, they don't! How can I trust that you will keep your word?!" I shouted. I screamed. I was acting like a three year old, and it wasn't fair... He was right, and I couldn't admit it to myself.
 A couple more months has passed since then and Carson was a regular visitor at mine and Heidan's home. Me and Heidan weren't back together per say, but we were getting there.
 And Rosen... My little baby Rosen, wasn't that little anymore. The intense growth spurt he had make his 4 year old body look 6 or 7. It was unreal. But anything was hardly real anymore after your lover has come back from the dead.
 "Babe... Whats wrong.. You have been kind of down lately..." Heidan asked, worry flashed across his face.
"I am just worried. I want us to work, but I'm scared. I don't know if I can lose you again."
 "You aren't going to lose me. You have never lost me. I was always here..."
 We decided to sit on the couch and relax as a family when Rosen looked like he was about to collapse.
"Honey, are you alright? You seem like you are about to pass out on the spot!" I exlaimed.
Rosen shrugged it off as normal behavior and went upstairs to go to sleep.
 When Carson arrived, there was something we had to discuss.
"Heidan. Who exactly did murder you?"
``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
I'm sorry that kind of SUCKED. The point of view might have changed, I'm really not sure, I am exhausted right now, so I don't even know whats going on and the chapter might seem choppy but thats because there is time lapses. Yeah well comment, and don't be afraid to critisize me!
The Fallen Legacy Chapter 3
 I know this chapter is out superly-duperly quickly after the last, but I really wanted to write it instead of waiting until next week to do so.
 My little prize possession. Rosen, my son, was only a year old and he was so full of life.
 There were times when he was a little cranky, until he got his bottle that is.
 Being a single parent was hard. But that's life. Life hardly is ever easy.
 Only when Rosen was asleep is when I had time for my self. I was always with him, and that wasn't a problem, but I still need my alone time occasionally.
 A lot of times I sat down and think. Think about what life would be like if Heiden was still alive. I knew I had to move on though, Heidan would want that...
 When morning arrived I made breakfast, even if it was mac and cheese, I was too happy to care. I found myself humming, and that was very odd for me. Maybe something good was going to happen today?
 The day was beautiful, (like always) and I took Rosen for a stroll around the city. The trip would probably take all day, due to how big it was, but we were both energized and ready to go.
 It was until we arrived at the beach, when I felt my day slowly tumbling down.
 This was the beach Heiden proposed to me at. I soon got a call from the doctors, for Rosen's yearly check up, and tried not to sound a little.... strained.
 I sat him down and just stared at the water. All the old feelings welled up inside me and I started to cry. I was quickly embarresed and wiped the tears off my face.
 "Hey, Rosen. This is where your daddy took mommy, all the time! Do you want to come here more often?" I asked Rosen using my baby voice.
Rosen started to giggle and get excited, I took that as a yes. He couldn't quite talk yet, though he could understand what I was saying.
 I started to trudge him along the sand, his feet barely picking themselves up when I felt eyes bore into my back.
 I quickly picked up Rosen, it would hardly be a lie if I couldn't tell when something big was going to happen, and I wanted Rosen to be safe, just in case it was dangerous. I turned and saw him... What was his name...? Carlson? Yeah, him. The one night stand. Crap.
 "You, uhhh, you have a baby?" He stuttered staring at the baby in my arms.
"Umm, yeah. But don't worry. Its not yours..." I played with the red hair sat on Rosen's head, to emphasis the color.
 "I figured that out by now. Hey, little baby...." His words trailed off waiting for me to give Rosen's name.
"Rosen, his name is Rosen."
"Funny, those eyes, and that hair color. They look all too familiar...." He trailed off once again, he quickly got a sad expression, but covered it up with a forced smile.
 "You wouldn't happen to have relations with a man named Heiden... Have you?"
"Depends on what you mean by relations. And how do you know Heidan?"
"Well, the Heidan I know, had his mothers hair and his fathers eyes.... And seems your son inherited some of his features..."
"Seems to be like my Heidan. He was murdered around a year and 10 months ago though. How did you know him?
"Murdered? But... He can't be.... I know I haven't spoken to him in 2 years, but... How could my half-brother be murdered....?" Tears instantly formed into his eyes...
 "Did you umm say half-brother...." I was quickly cut off and knocked out of air when Carlson squeezed me into a hug. He started balling by this point. I couldn't help but cry with him.
 We soon sat down, putting on fake smiles... We were watching the sky, telling each other wonderful stories about Heidan.
"Look, look at that star Rose... It looks like your eyes."
My breath caught, Heidan had said those same exact words to me the night of the proposal.
 "Are you okay Rose, you are being awfully quiet...."
I nodded and smiled to show him I was fine, this felt wrong, but I really needed the comfort right now...
 When we arrived back home, I sat on the couch and watched Carlson play with Rosen. Once again, it felt wrong. That should have been Heidan.
 A couple months have passed since then and me and Carlson have grown increasingly close. And we have started to date. He moved in to help with finances with Rosen and to help me raise him. I was so grateful that Carlson would take us under his wing.
 And of course like most couples... Well I'll let you finish that thought.
It wasn't until one Sunday afternoon that I heard footsteps enter the house...
"I see your doing fine, Rose."
Dun... Dun.. DUN! This is why I was so excited to write it, because HEIDAN IS BACK BABY!
